Program Aide

The Program Aide has responsibilities that assist the Consumer Advisory Board to meet it's role as prescribed by the Willowbrook Permanent Injunction. The Program Aide is responsible for the following but not limited to:
-Oversee the daily administrative activities of the office including answering phones; phone messaging; agency faxes; and email boxes providing appropriate responses and disseminating messages to CAB Personnel. -Assist with typed correspondence and dissemination to appropriate parties; filing of documents as appropriate. -Oversee the tracking and ordering of supplies for the CAB offices located throughout NYS -Assist the administrative specialist in assigned projects as necessary.
Job Function

Salary Range:
From $48881 to $59542 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Candidates must be reachable for appointment on Current Civil Service Eligible List for this title. OR Transfer:
Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/c status in the posted title and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two salary grades. OR Provisional:
In the event that there is not a valid eligible list for this title in this location, candidates who meet the following promotion qualifications may be qualified for a provisional appointment. To qualify, candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a G-5 or higher clerical, secretarial, keyboarding or paraprofessional title set in the office environment. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
