Summary:
The Manager will work under the supervision of our Director of Agency Advancement to secure individual donations for events, and small and/or recurring foundation grants.
The Manager will also be responsible for Project Hospitality's social media postings.
RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Director of Agency Advancement, and the Department, in securing $2.
8 million dollars for the agency each year.
Meet all fundraising benchmarks described herein.
Event Fundraising and Event Logistics Work to secure contributions from various corporate, philanthropic and individual donor sources for PH's annual events.
Secure $200,000 in event contributions, or approximately $50,000 per event for PH's Gala, PH's Poor People's Dinner, PH's Dine Out Against Hunger Campaign and PH's Spring Luncheon.
Work closely with Development Department to coordinate Project Hospitality events.
Small and Recurring Grants and Individual Contributions Manage a portfolio of small and recurring grants, valued at approximately $250,000.
Handle all proposal responses, submissions and reporting.
Keep a schedule of reports and grant submission deadlines.
Social Media Generate (written) social media content for PH's events and work with PH's Development Coordinator to obtain photo and graphic content.
Develop a schedule for regular social media posting and report to Director on weekly postings Propose ideas for social media campaigns and implement upon departmental approval.
Perform uploading and backend work on all of PH's social media sites.
Other Arrange committee meetings, and other gatherings, and manage phone outreach campaigns for the Development Department.
Contact elected officials and other community stakeholders.
Assist in the government RFP process by gathering appropriate information for attachments.
Position requires a BA, MA or MPA in nonprofit management/public administration, or a related field.
Must have 3 years of prior development/fundraising experience.
Ability to establish workload priorities and balance diverse projects.
In addition, the Manager shall perform any duties as required to meet the needs of the program.
