The Administrative Support Specialist will be responsible for completing administrative support activities to support successful office and administrative support operations.

Responsibilities:
Act as initial point of contact for individuals, families, advocates and/or professionals contacting the office, either in person or on the phone.
Provide clerical/administrative support to the Care Management staff which includes, but is not limited to, copying, mailing, shredding, processing purchases, setting up files.
Assist the Care Management department with the tracking of various time sensitive tasks through reports and/or spreadsheets.
Utilize the CHOICES platform to assist with demographic data changes, program adds and program removals.
Provide support to the Care Management staff in the completion of the various tasks relating to the new enrollee checklist/workflow.
Utilize the MediSked platform in order to assist with routing calls to the appropriate Care Manager, and also for some tracking, reporting and mailing functions.
Assist with the development of forms and written correspondence.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma and prior experience working in an office setting.
Strong communication skills including verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and organizational skills also required.
Proficiency in the use of internet-based applications, Chrome, and Outlook.
Must be comfortable navigating computer-based documentation and electronic timekeeping and training.
Ability to learn all required computer applications Excellent organizational, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills required.
Proficiency with health-related computer applications also required.
Must also be able to travel and adhere to CDNY's travel policies.
Reliable transportation is required, and a valid driver's license may be required depending on location.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
