Based primarily on Staten Island (with a satellite agency in Manhattan), our agency currently provides home care services to clients in all five boroughs in New York City.

The Community Representative is responsible for gauging and developing community interest in Margret Ultra Home Care's services.
As a public-facing member of our team, you will work to bring new innovations from patient referrals, building relationships with referral sources and developing community awareness to our agency.
Responsibilities:
Develop new referral sources.
Upholding and strengthening relationships with existing providers and referral sources.
Attending community events, medical events, and other related opportunities.
Traveling to physicians' offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and other facilities.
Utilize marketing strategies to gauge community interest and attract new clients.
Collaborating with the management to maintain thorough and concise data related to prospective referrals and their statuses, as well as troubleshoot any potential issues.
Collaborating with the Human Resources department to advertise open caregiver positions within the agency.
Collaborating with Coordinating department to provide prospective referrals Meet a monthly referral quota and provide detailed reports on outreach efforts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or higher degree in related field 1
years of community outreach experience (home care preferred) Ability to travel throughout New York City (car a plus) Working lexicon of home healthcare terminology Working knowledge of Medicaid/ Medicare guidelines, MLTC's, CHHAs, Third-party LTC Insurances is preferred.
If you are without home care experience, you must display the ability and drive to learn.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
Detail oriented; creative thinking.
Demonstrate strong problem- solving skills.
Multilingual preferred, but not required.
