Building Service Worker

Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks for the maintenance of patient rooms, offices and other assigned areas of the hospital.
Required
Experience:
Operates all cleaning equipment used by department for various cleaning or buffing jobs.
Moves heavy objects such as beds, desk, copy machines, etc.
Identifies medical waste from regular waste and disposes of the regular and medical waste in an appropriate manner following hospital regulations.
Participates in mandatory educational and in-service programs.
Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks for maintenance of patient rooms such as:
Sweeps, mops, wet, washes and vacuums floor thoroughly using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents.
Washes walls and ceilings by hand, minimizing spills/splashes.
Strip and wax floors throughout hospital and outside properties.
Washes and/or disinfects sinks and other plumbing thoroughly using appropriate cleaning agent or disinfectant.
Housekeeping experience a plus but not required.
On the job training.
Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
Education requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalency required.
Skills:
Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position.
Physical demands:
Heavy physical effort (lift/carry 50 lbs.
or more.
) Frequent prolonged standing/walking.
Pushes/pulls or moves/lifts heavy equipment/supplies.
Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and/or crouching.
Salary Range:
$22.
528/Hr - $23.
774/Hr Recommended Skills Heavy Equipment Infection Control Maintenance Plumbing Quality Management Cleaning Agent Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
