Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team
The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
The Payroll Specialist will work closely with the HR department to maintain employee records, address payroll-related queries, and contribute to the overall smooth operation of the payroll function.
ADP & Workday experience preferred
Key
Responsibilities:
  1. Payroll Processing:
    • Collect and verify timekeeping information.
    • Calculate and process payroll transactions accurately and on time.
    • Review and reconcile payroll data before finalizing payments.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  2. Record Maintenance:
    • Update employee payroll records with changes in tax status, benefits, and other relevant information.
    • Generate and distribute pay statements.
  3. Compliance:
    • Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
    • Assist in preparing and filing tax reports.
  4. Communication and Support:
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
    • Collaborate with HR to address any discrepancies or issues.
    • Provide support during audits related to payroll.
  5. Reporting:
    • Generate and analyze payroll reports for management.
    • Prepare reports for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
