Corrugator Stacker
Job Title: Corrugator Stacker

Location: NY Box Plant, Staten Island, NY
The Corrugator Stacker Operator is responsible for all activities associated with stacking sheets from the corrugator including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
oAbility to read production sheets and adhere to production schedule.
oCount and verify unit and inch counts of units.
oEnsure proper load tags are in each unit and appearance meets plant requirements.
oOperate corrugator conveyor lines and unitizer.
oComply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
oQuickly identify any quality defects and communicate immediately to machine operators.
oConducts quality checks using micrometer, tape measure, etc.
oAdditional duties may be assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
oMust have A High school diploma or GED
oMust have the ability to work a 2nd shift position.
oAbility to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy up to 1/16 variance.
oAble to work extended work hours and weekends, as needed
oSelf-motivated
oProfessional Attitude & conduct
oExcellent verbal and written communication skills
oAbility to add, subtract, & multiply
oMust pass background check, drug screen, physical, & Caetus Aptitude testing.
REASONING ABILITY:
oAble to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

oWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
oThe employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. oThe employee is occasionally required to sit.
oThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
oWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
oThe employee is frequently exposed to wet, hot and/or humid conditions.
oThe employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
oMust have basic computer skills (Data Entry).
PREFERRENCES:
oPrior work experience in the corrugated industry.
o6 months' experience in the corrugator.
