Urgent Care Supervisor

  • Serve as anon-site resource to support patients, staff and providers;

  • Ensure staffare working productively and professionally throughout all working hours;

  • Ensure thatoffice facilities and equipment are being maintained according to companystandards;

  • Ensureimplementation and enforcement of company policies and protocols;

  • Reconciledaily payment collections; make bank deposits and file reports

  • Maintaininventory of office and medical supplies;

  • Completemonthly staff schedules and provide or arrange for coverage as needed;

  • Review andapprove employee payroll timecards;

  • Assistwherever needed to best facilitate patient flow and completion of staff dailychecklists;

  • Review staffwork regularly; address issues and provide feedback as needed

  • Communicatestrongly with management daily regarding site and staff issues

  • Respond toall correspondence in a timely manner;

  • Escalate staff,patient or facility issues to upper management as necessary;

  • Collaboratewith management on staff reviews, feedback and disciplinary action;

  • Facilitatebilling inquiries from patients; address billing/coding issues with staff orproviders

  • Assist withspecial projects as assigned by management and administration


  • Bachelor'sDegree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Management orrelated field preferred

  • 2 years ofexperience with administrative work and customer service OR 2 years ofprogressive experience in a medical office environment

  • Knowledge ofmedical insurance plans including managed care plans

  • Ability towork independently, accurately and efficiently

  • Ability tocollaborate with others, delegate tasks, work as a part of a team andcommunicate strongly with management

  • Strongdecision-making, problem-solving and communication skills

  • Strongcomputer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Internet research andcomputer navigation; experience with EMR preferred


Mustbe willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
