OPTICAL INSTRUMENT REPAIRER

As a OPTICAL INSTRUMENT REPAIRER, WG-3306-10, you will perform maintenance, repair, and inspections on optical and non-optical precision instruments and related devices MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Experience:
Experience or training that has provided the candidate with the ability to apply knowledge of optical theory and construction principles in order to test, repair, align, and collimate a variety of complex optical equipment. Experience which demonstrates the ability to understand and apply instructions, and specifications; and interpret blue prints and diagrams of optical paths and mechanical linkages. Experience using hand and power tools common to an optical shop. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must have at least 18 months of experience or training repairing, rebuilding, overhauling systems and components of optical instrument equipment. Experience in diagnosing malfunction in determining remedy where complex relationships exist among optical systems and supporting mechanical and electrical systems. Experience in the use of a variety of measuring and testing equipment. Experience interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, schematics and work orders.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
